In this post I explain the Tenderloin Tuesday design inspiration. I love this design but I don’t wear it on Tuesdays like I should. Every time I pull it out the closet to wear, it’s either Monday or Wednesday. Or if I do wear it on a Tuesday I don’t leave the house that day.
Tenderloin Tuesday Design Inspiration
Where Did The Slogan Come From?
This slogan is my way to get people to eat a steak on Tuesdays. Because everyone knows Taco Tuesday. And don’t get me wrong: Tacos are tasty. Yet, a nice filet is tastier! Thus, I came up with the Tenderloin Tuesday slogan.
I like this slogan because it rolls off the tongue just like Taco Tuesday does. That’s what can get slogans to stick in the vernacular. Plus, it’s alliterative just as the previous phrase with the repetitive Ts.
How Did I Create The Design?
I get my images from Unsplash and Pexels. The images for the Tenderloin Tuesday design inspiration was to be a steak filet. I knew I wanted the image to be in the middle of the design with the slogan above and below the image. This design doesn’t follow the normal flow of my designs with the slogan centered in the middle with the image behind it. I made the design this way for readers to see the slogan and then see the steak. That way they could equate the two.
I finally found an image I love which was a filet mignon on a plate. So I downloaded and edited the images in GIMP to add the slogan and do other fixes. I had to do quite a bit of editing and cleanup to remove the background so I could get just the steak.
Creating this design took some time due to the editing needed, which is common when I find certain images.
