Limited Edition Cover Image

Let’s All Meat latest announcement is our limited edition clothing which you can check out here.

What Is Our Limited Edition Clothing?

Our limited edition clothing are t-shirts, tank tops, long-sleeve t-shirts, or sweatshirts designed for specific events or holidays and sold for a specific amount of time. Once the timeframe ends that clothing is discontinued.

Why Only Sell Limited Edition Clothing For A Certain Timeframe?

It wouldn’t make sense to sell certain designs made for a specific holiday like Fourth of July all year long. Plus, I consider this design special for the event or holiday and only want to sell them for that particular period.

Could These Designs Come Back Later?

They could when the event or holiday comes around again. So if you missed it you would have to wait a full year to get the chance to buy it again.

Events And/Or Holidays We Will Have Special Designs For

Here’s a list, although not a definitive one:

  • Father’s Day (currently on sale)
  • Independence Day / Fourth Of July
  • Labor Day
  • Halloween
  • Veteran’s Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Hanukkah
  • Christmas

Porterhouse Steak, I Love You Dearly

Porterhouse Steak

My favorite steak cut is the porterhouse steak. I do love t-bone steaks too but the porterhouse cut has more of that tender, tender filet attached so it wins out. I know, I know, people love ribeye steaks. And while that cut is tasty it’s too fatty for me. I love eating a good piece of steak, including tasting and enjoying the beef flavor. Hence, why I love the porterhouse steak dearly.

Why I Love Porterhouse Steak Dearly

First off, this cut is usually sliced thick which makes it the perfect steak for grilling. There’s nothing like cutting into a thick steak after it came off the grill. The feel of your knife slicing through the thick meat, the heft you feel as you pick it up with your fork (or fingers), the bounciness of the meat, oh boy! Now I want a steak.

Second, the taste of this cut isn’t matched by any other cut. A porterhouse steak is what steak should taste like: Beefy goodness.

Finally, I love the marbling of the fat throughout the meat. To me, that’s what makes this cut of steak stand above all others. The melding of the meat and fat as it cooks.

How I Typically Cook My Porterhouse Steak

As of the past several months I got a Weber charcoal grill so I’ve been grilling my steaks. Yes, I grill any time of the year, even when it’s freezing outside. My brother is the same way. We got that trait from our grandfather who would grill almost everyday at his shop.

However, if I can’t grill my steak I will fry it up in my Lodge cast iron skillet for a few minutes on each side before placing it in the oven for a few more minutes. I eat my usually medium, however I can be off with my timing sometimes and cook the steak medium-rare. Especially if the butcher cuts the steak very thick. I don’t mind when that happens because I’ll eat medium-rare.

When it comes to seasonings I keep it simple: Salt and pepper. I know some people don’t like to put the latter on the steak until after it cooks because pepper can burn and cause a bad taste. Yet, I still put a little on there. I even like to put a little cayenne pepper on my steaks too. Finally, I don’t use any steak sauce on my steaks. I haven’t done that in years. A properly-cooked steak doesn’t need a sauce. The salt and pepper brings out the flavor of the meat which is truly delicious!

Want To Win My Heart?

Some women love flowers, while others swoon over diamonds. Neither of those impress me. If you want to win my heart then buy me a steak or treat me to a steak dinner. Or let me get double-steak at Chipotle.

Eat Meat On The Cheap!

Eat Meat On The Cheap Image

Today I will give you 3 tips on how to eat meat on the cheap! Yes, eating a meat-based diet can be expensive, especially if you focus on eating only choice cuts. However, if you are willing to try different cuts of meat and use different cooking methods, you can save quite a bit of money.

Tip #1 On How To Eat Meat On The Cheap: Shop The Sales

Many, if not all, grocery stores in the U.S. run regular sales, including meat. These sales are collected into a “weekly ad” or a “circular.”

Where I live, the grocery stores have new circulars every Wednesday. Some stores like Aldi start a new sale every Sunday. Depending on where you live or shop, you need to check your grocery stores to determine when they start and end their sales.

After you determine that, then you check out the weekly ad to see what meat is on sale. From there, you can make a meal plan. If I see ground beef is on sale then I buy that. Or if the store has a great deal on bacon then I stock up on that.

Tip #2 On How To Eat Meat On The Cheap: Choose Inexpensive Cuts

I know you want to eat ribeye steaks or center cut pork chops but you can’t spend that type of money all the time. If you want to eat meat on the cheap then choose inexpensive cuts.

For beef, you’re looking at the following:

  • Chuck steak (very tasty if cooked correctly)
  • Tri-tip
  • Flat iron
  • Top round steak

For pork, look at these cuts:

  • Pork loin roast
  • Pork shoulder (one of my favorites)
  • Ground pork
  • Spareribs (awesome on the grill)

If you’re a chicken lover, all the cuts except chicken wings are pretty inexpensive. However, buying a whole chicken usually gives you the best price per pound.

Finally, for you lamb and goat fans, I suggest buying those from an ethnic grocery story, a local butcher, or a local farm. Although you can get these items from regular grocery stores, I don’t see many sales for these meats.

Tip #3 On How To Eat Meat On The Cheap: Learn Different Cooking Methods

My final tip to eat meat on the cheap is to learn different cooking methods. When you choose inexpensive cuts of meats you can’t cook them as you would a choice cut of steak or pork. Usually because these meats don’t have much fat or are a very fatty cut.

With cheaper cuts of meat I suggest you cook low and slow. Roasting meat in a oven or in a slow-cooker is a fantastic option. You can still sear the meat but cook it slowly in liquid. Braising these meats are a good option too. If you don’t know how to do either then search on YouTube for a tutorial.

Look into marinating your meat too. Yes, you can buy pre-made marinades but it’s incredibly easy to create one. Basically it’s oil, water, and spices. However, you can find a recipe online.

Finally, invest in the proper cookware. Yes, this will take some money but it’s better to invest in the proper cookware so you’re not wasting money by cooking the meat incorrectly. I highly suggest you buy a good stainless steel or cast iron pan because these are so versatile. If you are so inclined then look into getting an Instant Pot. Although I’m not into pressure cooking, all the people I know that has this appliance can’t stop speaking highly of it.

Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress: Let’s See If She Had Good Taste

Lady Gaga's Meat Dress

When I told people about Let’s All Meat on Twitter I got a response from one of my followers that said “I’m picturing that time Lady Gaga just wore steaks.” That gave me the idea to write about Lady Gaga’s meat dress and determine if she had good taste. Get it? I’m using good taste in two ways: Fashion and the tastiness of the beef used. Oh, I’m spending too much time explaining this. Let me get on with this post.

Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress: The Type Of Meat Used

According to the Wikipedia article, the designer behind Lady Gaga’s meat dress used raw beef. He specifically used flank steak. Let’s discuss that cut of meat.

Flank steak is versatile but it can be a tough cut to eat because it comes from the abdominal muscles of the cow. Think about your core and how you use it everyday. Yeah, that’s why that cut of beef is tough. Yet, don’t let this info about flank steak from keep you from eating it. It’s a good alternative to skirt steak and you can grill, roast, broil, or saute it.

Flank steak can be a difficult cut of steak for people to cook because it’s so lean they cook it too long or on too high heat. If you want to cook this cut, you need to slice it against the grain to make it tender and don’t cook it beyond medium temperature.

Finally, this cut works well with marinades and I highly recommend you use one or make your own.

Did She Have Good Taste?

I believe that, yes, Lady Gaga had good taste when it came to her meat dress. Flank steak has some cons I spoke of above yet I’ve always enjoyed eating a properly-cooked cut. I’ve eaten flank steak in tacos, fajitas, and in some Asian dishes.

Welcome To Let’s All Meat!

Let's All Meat Default Logo Cropped

Hey there! I’m Brittany Gates, owner and designer of the products on this site. Welcome to Let’s All Meat!

Welcome To Let’s All Meat: What Is This Site About?

Let’s All Meat is an ecommerce store that sells clothing & accessories for meat-eaters and carnivores. I go into detail about why I created this store and the designs in the About The Company page.

Basically I love eating meat and wanted to find clothing that expressed that love. However, I couldn’t find shirts that I liked so I created my own. And that lead to the creation of this store.

Overall, I offer items I like and would wear:

  • T-Shirts
  • Long-Sleeve T-Shirts
  • Tank Tops
  • Sweatshirts
  • Stickers
  • Magnets
  • Pin Buttons

Welcome To Let’s All Meat: How Did I Come Up With The Designs?

The slogans tend to come to me whenever I’m working on another project or when I’m out for a walk. Then I stop and write those down. Sometimes I adjust the slogans but sometimes they are perfect when I think of them.

When it comes to the images I use pictures available for commercial use from Pexels and Unsplash. I tweak them to the design in my head using an image manipulation program. Finally, I overlay the text of the slogan and make it bold.

Will There Be New Products And/Or Designs?

Yep! I will periodically update the store with new products and/or designs. I will release these around certain holidays, seasons, things like that.

However, if there is a particular product you would like (like children’s clothing, for example) then please use the contact form available here to send that request.
